Assistant Management Accountant

A fantastic permanent opportunity for a full time Assistant Management Accountant role based in Chapel-en-le-Frith in High Peak - with hybrid home working available.

Description

The duties include:

• Supporting the Financial Controller with the production of the management accounts including journals and accruals & prepayments
• Complete and check Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Cashflow reporting and forecasting
• Supporting with the year end audit
• Supporting forecasting and budgeting processes
• Analysing and investigating month end variances
• Reviewing costs and producing reports for the Financial Controller and Chief Financial Officer
• Supplier Statement reconciliations
• Providing cover/processing support for AP team
• Processing the payment Run
• Project work as required such as testing system developments

Profile

The successful candidate MUST:

• Have experience with basic Management accountant - Essential
• Be studying towards ACCA, CIMA OR AAT qualified - Essential
• Have excellent communication and organisation skills - Essential
• Be comfortable working to an intermediate level on MS Excel - Essential
• Have a flexible and adaptable approach to work - Essential

Job Offer

this role is looking to pay up to £35,000 + Hybrid home working available + Study support + Bonus + Progression
