Assistant Management Accountant

We are supporting a rapidly growing wholesale business who are currently expanding due to high demand in workload, what an exciting time to join! They are recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant to join them on a 12-month rolling contract with the potential to become permanent for the right person.

This is a great opportunity for a candidate who is seeking their next step and to build on existing Management Accounts experience.

Duties will include:

• Review of debtor and creditor reports
• Management Accounts reporting
• Providing support and managing a small accounts team
• Processing of daily and monthly payments in GBP, EUR and USD across multiple entities
• Quarterly and bi-monthly VAT submissions
• Processing of payroll and sending pension submissions
• Month end reconciliations of bank accounts, invoice finance facility and credit card statements

This is a busy and varied role which will utilise your skills plus grow your experience further. You will also be required to complete ad-hoc tasks as and when requested by the Finance Director. Full training will be provided, however having knowledge of Management Accounts is required alongside experience using Sage Line 50.

This is a fully office-based position in Basildon, you will work Monday to Thursday 8:30am - 5:30pm and on Fridays there is an early finish. There is on site parking, 28 days annual leave including bank holidays and a workplace pension scheme. 35k-38k Salary DOE.
