Assistant Management Accountant

Location: Yorkshire and the Humber, West Yorkshire, Leeds

As an Assistant Management Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting the management accounting team in financial reporting and analysis. Your duties will include:

• Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
• Conducting variance analysis and producing financial reports
• Assisting with year-end audits and statutory reporting
• Processing journal entries and reconciling accounts
• Participating in financial projects and initiatives

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role

• Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting practises
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities

• Studying towards ACA, ACCA or CIMA
