Description
As Assistant Management Accountant reporting into the Head of Finance, you will be successfully responsible for preparation of the management accounts with key duties such as accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, prepayments, ownership of the ledgers and journal postings for example.
Alongside this will be contributing to the organisations commercial financial reporting such as any variance analysis, budgeting and forecasting etc adding commentary and recommendations where necessary. This will lead into the stakeholder management with the wider financial and non financial organisation.
Profile
- Open to anyone qualified by experience, AAT Level 2/3/4, ACCA/CIMA/ACA Part Qualified or looking to study and pursue financial qualifications.
- Experience of supporting with management accounts such as balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, prepayments or journal postings for example.
- Knowledge of budgeting, variance analysis, creating board packs or forecasting is advantageous but not essential
- Comfortable with Microsoft excel
- Excellent written and verbal commutation for stakeholder management
- Key eye for detail
