You’ll be encouraged to identify and draw attention to opportunities for enhancing our delivery and providing additional services to our clients.
The Assistant Manager - Financial Service Advisory Internal Audit role involves supporting the planning of engagements and organising the delivery of the work and sometime directly leading more complex assignments. You'll manage Internal Audit internal control and regulatory assignments for Financial Services clients, including planning, organisation of resources and review You'll play an important role in developing and maintaining deep client relationships and development members of the BDO team.
You'll have the opportunity to further develop specialist sub sector, technical and regulatory knowledge and will also have opportunities to work with and support the wider Financial Services Advisory team and its clients..
You’ll be someone with:
- An Accountancy or Internal Audit professional qualifications and/or memberships i.e. ICAEW, CIMA, CIIA, ACCA etc or relevant industry qualification.
- Internal audit or regulatory assurance experience working in Financial Services which can be from banking, insurance or wealth and asset management
- Diverse Internal Audit or advisory assignments experience and understand Internal Audit methodology and techniques
- Functional knowledge of the UK regulatory environment with deeper knowledge of asset/wealth management and the risks that they face
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to present concise information
- Sound technical knowledge of financial regulated products and / customer facing
- Strong written / communication skills, ability to influence, lead and engage
