- Assist in the preparation of the project execution plan.
- Manage client relationship on the current project
- Help produce project programmes and monitor the project in line with those programmes.
- Ensure progress of the project by creating forums for the project team and external stakeholders.
- Attend selected project meetings.
- Monitor project costs in line with the approved budget.
- Assist in the management of key project issues to the satisfaction of the client.
- Maintain risk register.
- Administer the works contract.
- Contribute to the preparation of bids, expressions of interest and capability statements.
- Strong Interpersonal skills including ability to manage client relationships.
- Ideally experience working as a Assistant Project Manager within the construction built environment. (Desirable)
- Experience of dealing with customers, clients and contractors.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Ideally an industry related degree or equivalent work experience and working towards a professional membership (ICE, CIOB, MAPM, RICS).
