SalaryA large regeneration group are looking to recruit an Assistant Site Manager to manage a decarbonisation refurbishment project in Birmingham,West Midlands
The role:
As an experienced Assistant Site Manager you will assist the Site Manager running your element of the project.
Scope of works -
Low-rise Project this work consists of :
5 Streams broken down into 22 Blocks (3 Stories) in Birmingham
Main works :
Decarbonisation retrofits to improve thermal efficiency, reduce carbon emissions and provide energy savings for tenants.
Day to day:
You will help manage the site within a set build program and help make sure it is completed within budget and with the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
On a daily basis: You will carry out toolbox talks and maintain records according to program. You will assist in being responsible for health and safety on site. This will involve identifying risk assessments and safe systems of work and weekly audits. You will control and monitor all resources including materials and subcontractors. As a successful Assistant Site Manager you will ensure site records are maintained and recorded accordingly.
The Company:
Part of a larger construction group they are leading provider of regeneration services in the UK. They design, build, refurbish and regenerate communities completing refurbishment, repairs and maintenance and housing development.
The Person:
It is likely you will have previously worked as either an Assistant Site Manager,Foreman,Supervisor or Manager in a similar decarbonisation, regeneration social house building environment .
You may have worked on either decarbonisation retrofits refurbishments or refurb of decent homes, kitchens and bathroom upgrades or have experience with EWI ,Cladding,AOU,Firedoors. A good all rounder with all the experience would be ideal as there will be lots of future work in this area.
It is essential to have a CSCS (Managerial), SMSTS, First Aid qualification, IT skills as well as a driving license.
