As a key player in our company, you will have the opportunity to contribute to exciting projects and develop your skills alongside experienced professionals.
They are a multi-disciplinary main contractor with experience working in many different sectors of the construction industry.
Their projects range in scale and complexity, with working on larger projects, including some of the most important projects in Oxfordshire and the Southeast, leaving their Maintenance and Renovations team to concentrate on smaller or more specialised projects, requiring certain skills.
Their diversity of experience means that they have become distinguished at managing all types of projects across multiple sectors, including those that present logistical and architecturally sensitive challenges such as listed buildings and inner-city locations.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Site Manager in overseeing day-to-day operations on construction sites.
- Assist in coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Monitor progress and quality of work, addressing any issues that arise promptly.
- Enforce health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist with project documentation, including reports, schedules, and budgets.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction and project success.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a construction-related role, ideally as a Site Supervisor or Assistant Site Manager.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with diverse teams.
- Knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools, such as Microsoft Office and project management software.
