An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Site Manager to join a privately owned, well established main contractor based in the Oxfordshire region, working on a full time, permanent basis. In this role you will be essential in supervising and managing construction projects from start to finish as an Assistant Site Manager. You will collaborate closely with a skilled group of experts, picking up invaluable practical experience and coaching to advance your career.
Assistant Site Manager Duties:
- Planning, controlling, and managing the delivery of day-to-day operations on site.
- Oversee and manage employees who are on-site, giving them clear directions and making sure their workspace is safe.
- Ensuring all works are carried to programme and budget.
- Keep up-to-date project records, such as change orders, reports, and progress updates.
- Develop trusting connections with clients by attending to their needs and making sure they are satisfied at every stage of the project.
- Promoting and enforcing Health and Safety.
- Supervise and monitor teams to consistently deliver value with the highest standard.
Assistant Site Manager Criteria:
- Demonstrated experience in the construction industry or a bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related profession.
- Strong commercial and budget awareness.
- SMSTS/CSCS/First Aid Trained.
- Strong communication, leadership skills.
- Organised and strong time management skills.
