We are currently seeking an experienced Associate Director, Securities Finance Quant Risk Manager to join the desk in London.

Responsibilities:
- Provide “first line of defence” risk management for the Securities Finance, FX Prime Services and Derivatives Clearing Services (DCS) businesses.
- Manages the firm’s exposure to clients by setting appropriate margin levels, controlling the amount of financing provided, negotiating strong risk terms with clients including term financing arrangements, setting appropriate client-facing limits, and proactively monitoring the risk within the portfolio.
- Contribute to the development, calibration and maintenance of risk and margining methodologies for the Securities Financing business across all products.
- Enhance capability of the current model suite and create new analytical tools to support risk management decision making and tactical margining solutions for client strategies.
- Work on large scale of data and build tools that will allow the business to generate new risk management insights from existing data, including early warning risk indicators and creation of ad-hoc or periodic reports.
- Ensure that the business has robust and comprehensive tools for measuring its risk.
- Help develop compelling margining solutions for clients as the business expands its offering to new products.
- Develops products/solutions that are both sound from a risk management perspective and attractive to clients.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the product area including market liquidity and volatility, pricing and trading strategies.
