Associate Strategic Advisers

Joining an established professional team within the Public Sector- The Strategic Support Unit, on an associate contract, you will provide specialist advice to a wide range of key public sector clients on complex economic projects. You will be equally comfortable working alone to deliver the consultancy assignments, or as part of a team. Main Duties and Responsibilities:
The Strategic Support Unit team typically assist our public sector partners by:
• Leadership: Provide strong leadership to project teams, in a challenging and complex environment to deliver sustainable change and transformation.
• Business Analysis: Provide strong analytical thinking, challenging existing practice and norms.
• Client Relationship Management: We build and manage strong client and stakeholder relationships in challenging and politically sensitive situations at a senior level.
• Customer Service: Deliver a quality consultancy service across organisational and sectoral boundaries, working closely with clients to understand their requirements, building capacity and becoming trusted advisers.
• Strategic Advice: Typically we work with clients to develop vision and strategy, defining programmes, managing risk, writing business cases and undertaking project evaluations.
• Procurement Support: We provide specialist procurement support and commercial advice to the public sector.
• Organisational Strategy & Design: Effectively develop and apply a wide range of organisational development and business improvement methodologies that deliver real and demonstrable value and appropriate outcomes for the client. We facilitate organisations to think innovatively and develop new ways of working with emphasis on governance and accountability.
• Architectural Advice: Providing technical advice and spatial vision, we work with Clients to develop their capital projects at inception stage to ensure available space is used efficiently and innovatively, preparing clients forthcoming development briefs and planning procedures.
• Transport Planning: Delivering practical solutions to transport and Infrastructure problems, our transport planners focus on the core issues and provide a highly skilled and respected service to our clients.
