Audit and Accounts Senior

Audit and Accounts Senior Location: Dudley

Are you a dedicated Audit and Accounts Senior? Are you ACA or ACCA qualified? Do you have proven experience of delivering excellent client service? As an Accounts and Audit Senior you will play an important role in overseeing and managing the accounting and auditing within the firm – 50% Audit and 50% Accounts. You will be responsible for leading audit engagements, preparing financial statements and being the first point of contact for clients for ad hoc queries. Further to the above your main duties will include:

• Audit of limited company and charity accounts
• Preparation of statutory accounts and corporation tax computations
• Training and supervision of staff
• Attending clients’ premises
• Preparing preliminary corporation tax computations
• Engagement in department meetings
• Willingness to undertake relevant CPD to maintain technical knowledge
• Finalising the accounts and corporation tax computations following client meetings
• Provide guidance and assistance to colleagues including conducting reviews of their work when necessary The ideal candidate we are looking for is an experienced individual with recent general practice background and exposure to accounts, audit, or tax. Furthermore, we are looking for the following:
• IT literate including Excel knowledge
• Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of accounting software packages such as Sage, QuickBooks Online and Xero
