Audit Semi Senior Position – Independent Chartered Accountants Firm – Leicester

As an Audit Semi Senior, you will be instrumental in conducting audit assignments and preparing audit documentation. Working closely with the audit team, you will gain exposure to all aspects of audit from planning to completion, offering invaluable experience in a fast-paced professional setting. The role demands a proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and a strong understanding of audit principles. This position is perfect for someone who is eager to learn, enjoys problem-solving and is looking to take the next step in their auditing career.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the planning and execution of audit assignments.
• Prepare audit documentation in line with agreed audit strategy.
• Communicate effectively with clients to gather vital audit information.
• Review financial statements and identify audit risks.
• Work closely with senior auditors to ensure assignments are completed on time.
• Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment.

Requirements:

• ACA/ACCA part-qualified or equivalent.
• Strong technical knowledge and understanding of UK GAAP and IFRS.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and team-working skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and adhere to deadlines.
• Previous experience working within a UK Practice environment.
