As a member of the Internal Audit department, we want you to share our passion about adding value to our people, customers, communities and stakeholders, providing robust independent assurance and challenge on the effectiveness of processes and controls across the bank and having exposure to senior stakeholders across our global organisation.
You will be accountable for supporting the activities to assess the management and control of risks across the business, take personal accountability that all tasks meet agreed timescales and comply with quality requirements set out by policy and guidelines. You will also liaise effectively when necessary with stakeholders and other business areas within Audit with the direction of more senior colleagues.

Performing assurance activities to assess the management and control of risk
Ensuring that all work undertaken meets agreed timescales and complies with quality requirements
Highlighting risks within Audit activities to minimise and avoid risk
Managing relationships and influencing key stakeholders across the business and collaborating with other teams as required
Meeting tight deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
Supporting the communication of difficult messages to different audiences by producing quality outputs that can be relied upon
What you’ll bring:
Good understanding of risks and controls
Experience in an IT environment, either as an IT professional or an auditor
It would also be nice for you to have:
Degree qualification in a relevant field such as IT or business risk management/ equivalent
Knowledge of the financial services industry such as the Retail, Wholesale and Corporate & Commercial businesses
Ability to prioritise multiple tasks to ensure quality delivery within defined timescales

This role is based in Milton Keynes and our current expectation is at least 2 days in an office every week.
