Due to one of the team moving to a global role, we have an exciting position based at our Milton Keynes office. Responsible for sales of the Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR) Business (systems/products/services) within a designated market in accordance with strategy. Leverage the market coverage given by LBL Front-End Sales and Account managers, working hand in hand, to build a profitable AMR business and long-term customer relationships. The AMR business is a rapidly growing business, and something that all sectors of industry have interest in expanding into this automation field. We already have a strong pipeline and we are looking for an enthusiastic Sales Engineer that is capable of demonstrating the solutions with customers, preparing quotes and closing orders.

Your responsibilities

  • Keeping the CRM (SalesForce) up to date with the opportunity pipeline.
  • Visiting customer sites across the UK, with occasional visits to the factory in Spain.
  • Preparing quotes, presentations and Proof Of Concepts (POC) to the customers.
  • Ensuring that offers consider the market situation and customer conditions.
  • Monitoring customers’ needs and competitors’ offerings through market intelligence and insight from sales teams and the market.
  • Preparing the local strategy in conjunction with the global strategy, working with the global team.
  • Preparing and presenting for local risk review/global risk review processes, when appropriate.

Your background

  • Team player – this role has a high degree of collaboration.
  • 3+ years of experience in sales and/or engineering.
  • Experience of AMRs is required, but not essential, as training will be provided.
  • Ability to work the ABB software solutions to promote the AMR’s to customers.
  • Excellent Communication Skills.
  • Current UK driving license.
