Sales Engineer - Milton Keynes - Up to £40,000 plus bonus
Our client is a leading independent supplier of Power Protection equipment including UPS, Chargers, Battery Packs, Generators etc. who due to expansion are looking to recruit a Sales Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
- Our client is looking for a Sales Engineer to assist with all aspects of sales and lead generation, to find opportunities for growth within targeted industrial sectors, and maintain relationships with key accounts.
- Report to Sales Manager to produce commercial and technical proposals in response to customer enquiries.
- To discover new opportunities and contacts in targeted market sectors –
- There will be a bias to building contacts and projects within the Marine industry.
- Follow up quotations and close business.
- Establishing productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts
- Involvement in research and development and marketing
- Monitor and interact with tendering portals and report on opportunities that are of interest.
- Attend meetings with the customer at their site or offices across the UK. Skills, knowledge, and experience
- Excellent communicator at all levels to negotiate best outcomes for the company
- Must be able to work individually whilst being a member of a small team.
- Tasks and priorities are allocated by the Sales Manager
- Weekly liaison occurs with other members of the Company
- Experience is a previous sales position is preferable
- Knowledge and understanding of Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) would be beneficial.but not essential
- Hold full UK Driver’s License.
