High Risk Production Operative
Reports to: Back shift Manager & High Risk Supervisor
Overall purpose: To implement and follow all food safety and hygiene procedures, ensure quality assurance standards and best practice is adhered to at all stages of production.
Main Activities:
- Implementing and adhering to all food safety and hygiene procedures.
- Loading joints to be sliced
- Vac packing meat products ready to be oven cooked.
- Operating slicing/packing machinery.
- Cleaning and sanitizing machinery and workstations
Competencies:
- Knowledge and experience of the meat/food industry desirable
- An understanding of industrial food machinery.
- Flexibility to work overtime as and when needed.
- An enthusiasm to develop own skills
- Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate highly desirable.
