Whether you’re looking for extra shifts to boost your income or a flexible job that fits around your lifestyle, if you’re an experienced Healthcare Assistant or Support Worker you can join our staff bank and after completing a paid two-week induction you’ll have access to available HCA/SW shifts at Ballington House, with a future option to work bank shifts regionally at other Elysium services across your local area.

There is no minimum number of hours you’re required to work, though it is recommended to work as often as you can to ensure your induction knowledge and familiarity with the service is retained.
Weekdays, nights and weekend shifts are regularly available, which are easy to view and book through an app. Within a few taps you’ll have the nursing shifts secured with Elysium that you want.
Whether your experience is from the NHS or private sector, you can join the team as a Bank HCA or SW with an hourly rate that includes a 12.07% uplift to cover annual leave, plus have access to a range of benefits including free meals on duty, free parking and much more.

What you will be doing
Location: Ballington Gardens, Leek, Staffordshire ST13 5LW
You will be working at Ballington House, a 13 bedded mental health rehabilitation hospital that provides services for women with complex mental health needs.
The environment at Ballington House offers a pathway from admission to discharge and for those that require more in-depth rehabilitation a two bedroom is available as part of this journey.
You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team to support women who often have complex mental health and co-morbid conditions.

- Previous relevant experience working in healthcare

- A positive attitude and be naturally caring and compassionate
