Up to £42,000 (depending on experience) + bonus and benefits

As a Banking Services Team Leader, you’ll make sure the operation runs smoothly for the retail Banking Services across the UK, ROI and Netherlands. Being at the forefront of delivering banking service, managing merchant acquiring functions and developing customer relationships. Working closely with our service providers across regions to maintain service level agreements and meet daily payment deadlines accurately and efficiently. Handling inward payments across multiple currencies and types, you’ll maintain controls and uphold practices making sure a highly controlled environment. Identifying areas for improvements and risk mitigation will be second nature to you, as you speak with various teams to implement changes.

Managing the UK and Payments team will be a key aspect of your role, from reviewing training and development needs to completing regular one to one’s, making sure your team is equipped to achieve the objectives for the annual plan. But that doesn’t stop there – you’ll ensure identification and repatriation of all proceeds received into relevant bank accounts, escalating any high-risk items where needed. Working collaboratively with banking partners, cash-in-transit partners and card-acquiring merchants to continue the service level agreements and develop relationships with finance teams. Also, you’ll review data to identify trends and development opportunities, presenting findings to management.

You’ll bring a ton of knowledge and experience from working in banking and treasury, with a solid insight into payments and reconciliation controls and experience managing a team. Is used to working in a fast-paced environment while delivering exceptional customer service. Having the ability to communicate effectively at all levels will be key for this role.
