Location: Orlando, FL
Salary: $70,000 (Negotiable)
Our client is an esteemed luxury hospitality brand, celebrated for its unwavering commitment to exceptional service and refined elegance.
They are in search of a Banquet Sous Chef to join their team who can provide culinary support and leadership in the banquet department.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the entire culinary team of the dining outlet
- Assist with creating menu recipes, creating specials, and completion of inventory orders
- Run the line, and entire kitchen in the absence of the Chef
- Lead the charge on all standards, train employees on standards and menus, recipes, and cooking procedures
- Cater to large-scale events for guest
Ideal Banquet Sous Chef:
- Must have at least 2-3 years of Sous Chef (or higher) experience
- At least 2 years experience in Banquet or Culinary operations preferred
- Possess great communication skills and experience in using/working with a computer
- Must be “Food Safe Certified”, and Birch Street knowledge is a plus
- A sincere willingness to provide service to residents, guests, and peers
- Good organizational skills, with the ability to work independently
