Brightwork are pleased to be recruiting for a Bar Manager on behalf of our client based in Craigellachie on a full time, permanent basis.
Working with this client, duties will include but are not limited to:
Overseeing of the daily operations of the bar, ensuring exceptional customer service is provided.
Managing stock levels including the ordering of supplies and the maintenance of inventory records.
Training, managing and recruiting of staff members, promoting a positive and healthy work environment.
Monitoring cost codes and spend, ensuring profitability. Handling of cash and reconciliation of daily sales.
Planning and execution of promotions, events and special offers to attract new and regular customers.
Promoting and ensuring compliance with Health and Safety across the site, maintaining a safe environment.
Assisting with the running of the cottage attached to the site.
Any other duties as required.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience within a similar role in the hospitality industry, with strong leadership skills, capable of managing and motivating a team of people effectively. You must be a strong communicator and highly organised, alongside a deep passion for hospitality within the whisky industry. Flexibility regarding working hours is required as this role will involve evenings, weekends and holidays.
