Position:Behaviour Support Worker
Location: Sheffield
Salary: £90 - £120 per day
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:15 - 15:30

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Behaviour Support Worker at Veritas Education in Secondary Schools in Sheffield.

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and group support to students with behavioural challenges, helping them to manage their emotions and behaviour effectively.
• Implement behaviour management strategies and interventions in collaboration with teaching staff and SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator).
• Establish positive relationships with students, building trust and rapport to facilitate their personal and academic growth.
• Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback to relevant stakeholders.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external agencies to develop and implement individualized support plans.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children or young people, particularly those with behavioural difficulties, is desirable.
• Understanding of behaviour management techniques and strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
• Patience, empathy, and resilience in dealing with challenging situations.
• A commitment to promoting inclusion and supporting the holistic development of students.
