Are you a dedicated and passionate individual looking for a rewarding career in education? Remedy Education is seeking a committed Behaviour Teaching Assistant to work in a Primary School in Hull on a long-term basis. This opportunity is to cover a permanent vacancy, with the potential to transition into a full-time, permanent role if you find it fulfilling.
Position Details:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: Until July, with potential for extension
- Salary: £90 - £100 per day (based on experience and qualifications)
- Working Hours: 8:30am until 4pm
Key Duties and Requirements: As a Behaviour Teaching Assistant in a Pupil Referral Unit, your role will be both challenging and immensely rewarding. You will:
- Support Students: Provide one-on-one and group support to students with challenging behaviour.
- Maintain a Safe Environment: Create a safe and nurturing classroom environment that fosters learning and personal development.
- Implement Behaviour Plans: Work closely with teachers and therapists to implement behaviour management plans tailored to individual student needs.
- Assist in Classroom Activities: Support in delivering educational activities and ensuring students' engagement in the learning process.
- Build Relationships: Develop positive relationships with students, parents, and other staff members to create a supportive educational community.
Requirements:
- A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or substantial experience.
- A caring and compassionate nature with a genuine interest in the welfare of students.
- Resilience and adaptability to effectively handle challenging behaviours.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Previous experience in a Pupil Referral Unit is advantageous but not essential.
