BI Engineer – SQL & AWS FOCUS

Initial 6 month contract working for a tech company working in an agile team delivering BI & Analytics solutions, focused on understanding requirements, mostly around KPIs to measure, collections to form i.e customer and convert that into a complex SQL query and automate through ETL pipelines technology of choice (AWS).

You will be responsible for the development and maintenance of an enterprise data warehouse using AWS platform and several open-source tools. In this role, you will be involved in all aspects of the development of an enterprise data warehouse; design, documentation, development, build, test and deployment.

Experience required:

* SQL Code on AWS Redshift
* Experienced working with large, complex datasets
* BI experience (e.g. AWS, MS BI Stack, NoSQL)
* Solid Datawarehousing, ETL, BI Reporting
* Passion to learn new technologies
* Understanding of Data Warehousing
* Requirement gathering
* Awareness of CI/CD pipelines
* Awareness of GitHub
