SalaryOur global client with a strong UK and European presence are looking for a BI Team Lead to join the UK team on a permanent basis. Within the role, the successful candidate will be pivotal to the growth and development of the BI landscape, testing, developing, and building Power BI dashboards while also utilising various BI tools.
Key duties will include but are not limited to:
- Manage and oversee BI analysts. Ensuring individual and department growth while aligning all activity to the BI and data strategy roadmaps.
- Work collaboratively with the global team.
- Lead activity on developing and continual improvement of the BI landscape both in testing and building Power BI dashboard against the global business needs.
- Act as the main point of contact for all BI and analytical work.
- Review BI efforts across multiple disciplines and departments to ensure they are maximising business efforts.
- Take ownership for a portfolio of dashboards and take lead on using this against the BI strategy.
- Work closely with the Information Security department to ensure all systems are suitable for current and future needs.
- Extract and review raw data to make informed decisions to meet business requests.
- Further develop local configuration landscapes to maximise efficiencies and best practises.
The successful candidate will have:
- Educated to degree level within software engineering, computer science or information systems.
- Deep experience with Power BI, development and implementation of Power BI dashboards and other BI tools.
- Experience managing and developing teams.
- Real life experience of implementing and developing a BI architecture across different disciplines.
- Able to work autonomously and as part of a team while effectively communicating across departments up to stakeholder level.
- Exceptional communicational skills.
- Understanding of BI landscapes.
- Ability to work in the UK office 3 days per week.
