The role
As a Bid Coordinator you will be responsible for managing the end to end tender process and producing well written and comprehensive responses to bids and tenders for the organisation. You will be able to tell our client's story, and demonstrate their success and experience against the organisation s tender requirements, whilst linking their capabilities to the customers digital transformation objectives and GDS standards to demonstrate how our client can meet and exceed their needs.
Task and responsibilities include
- Manage the end-to-end tender process, from the initial identification of bid opportunities to the final submission, including early market engagement, RFP s, RFQ s and post-submission activities.
- Research and identify opportunities for bids/submissions on frameworks and relevant websites for the UK Public Sector.
- Build and manage internal relationships with Subject Matter Experts and work with them so they can provide detailed answers to support the tender process and deliver within timescales and deadlines.
- Write, edit, and format bid responses, ensuring they are accurate, persuasive, and customised to meet the customer requirements.
- When required work collaboratively with other subsidiaries within the Inv Group and our partners to support bids on joint opportunities.
- Work alongside the marketing team to provide branded RFP s and RFQ s documentation at the final stage of the bid process.
- Work with the Sales Executive to define pricing for RFP s and RFQ s and ensure responses are aligned to the overall customer relationship.
- Review customer tender feedback to enable continuous improvement for future bids.
- Organise wash up workshops with the relevant Stakeholders in relation to loss of bids.
- Bid Library Management Review and update the list of Subject Matter Experts to ensure the best person is available to support the Tender input.
- Manage company profiles on tender portals and frameworks and renew when needed.
Our client is looking for a driven, hard-working individual with excellent written skills. As part of this role, you will be expected to work with operational colleagues to provide professionally written proposals and presentations. This role requires exceptional attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure, to ensure effective coordination and completion of tenders within strict deadlines.
Required experience
- Demonstrable content writing experience desirable
- Experience coordinating bids in the UK
- Understanding of digital/technology market
- Excellent verbal and written skills with an extensive vocabulary
- Strong attention to detail
- UK Public Sector experience is desirable
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and to tight deadlines
- Self motivated and highly driven
- Strong project management skills
- Adaptable with the ability to multitask
- Good listener, empathetic and able to build good working relationships with stakeholders
- A Level educated or equivalent (including English)
- Minimum of 3 years in a Bid Coordinator role or similar
