Bid Coordinator – Part Time (up to 25 hours)

Addison Hunt is an ambitious and progressive Chartered consultancy based in Loughborough, Leicestershire and provides Quantity Surveying & Project Management Services to both Clients and Contractors. We have a wealth of experience in delivering schemes throughout the country across various sectors including residential, healthcare, industrial and commercial.
We are currently working with all stakeholders within the construction industry from Clients, Developers to Sub-Contractors in both the private and public sectors.
As part of our public sector growth plans we are recruiting a Bid Coordinator to assist with the bid process, company accreditations and compliance.
Ideally you should live within a 45 minute commute of our office in Loughborough, Leicestershire.
The right candidate will be capable of undertaking a wide range of responsibilities:
- Reviewing bid documents
- Coordinating bids from start to submission
- Development of bid content
- Formatting of document templates to a high presentable standard
- Updating the internal database of case studies, staff profiles and other documents
- Assisting with the adoption of industry standards that will benefit Addison Hunt’s bids
- Review of win/no win bids to identify areas of improvement/development
- Working in support of other aspects of the business
As a Bid Coordinator you will have:
- Demonstrable experience in writing quality bid material
- Excellent literacy and proof reading skills
- A strong attention to detail
- The ability to deliver to deadlines
- A proactive and ‘team player’ approach to work
- Excellent communication skills
You will work directly with the Directors but have the autonomy to manage and prioritise your own workload to achieve the required deadlines.
