Our client, an esteemed law firm located in the heart of Farringdon, is recognized as an outstanding place to work. They are seeking a Bid Executive to join their dynamic, successful, and friendly professional services team, where you can truly make your mark. In this role, you will support the business by assisting with the smooth running of the tendering process, managing data, and aiding in the production of bids to support fee earners’ business development activities and drive business growth.

Requirements:

• Degree-educated or equivalent.
• Advanced skills in Word, proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Related experience such as proposal writing, editorial work, or a legal PA background.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Understanding of the public sector and public sector procurement.
• Experience in a BID Executive or bid writer role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor portals and email inbox, downloading and circulating relevant tender opportunities.
• Assist with the timely planning and coordination of all aspects of bids, from initiation to completion, ensuring high-quality standards.
• Coordinate tenders, including chasing authors and collating content to ensure timely submission.
• Populate responses with standard information and boilerplate text.
• Format responses and create simple graphics in line with templates and branding.
• Proofread and upload final tender responses.
• Monitor and record feedback.
• Update bid pipeline report, key tender resources, and supporting information, including CVs and content library.
• Build internal and external relationships to create quality bids.
• This list of duties is not exhaustive, offering scope for the successful candidate to evolve and develop the function over time.
