Your Responsibilities

Bids & Tenders Project Manager

(London - Hybrid)

We are now seeking a Bid Manager to join our expanding Risk Practices team in the city!

We have been investing and growing at a substantial rate and as such our new business pipeline has increased significantly and will continue to do so. We therefore require the expertise of a project manager with bid /tender’s experience to help us support the growth of our business.

As part of a growing bid management team, you will be supporting both new business and defensive exercises, as well as strategic challenge reviews. The team supports our UK business, along with some of our international offices, coordinating with our specialist expertise across areas such as placement, data analytics, risk finance, strategic risk and claims. You will also be liaising with the design team to ensure we are continually producing high quality material.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Developing, managing, and enhancing the bid management relationship with the business (our client) to ensure the team’s strong internal brand is maintained.
  • Working closely and coordinating with the relevant specialists.
  • Ensuring the RfP requirements, timelines etc are clearly understood by the wider response team.
  • Ensuring the RfP response is concise, accurate, fully answers the RFP requirements and has clear messaging.
  • Co-ordination between teams and senior leadership throughout the RFP process.
  • Close liaison with the specialists and design team on timelines and workflow.
  • Ensuring the RFP processes adhere to our internal compliance process
  • Supporting pitch teams with presentation messaging, materials and rehearsal feedback
Qualifications
  • Strong team player who can work closely with both the business and other members of the team.
  • Flexible, reliable, and able to remain calm and productive under pressure to tight deadlines.
  • The right candidate will have previous bid management experience, ideally within a large insurance broker
  • Possess the ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
  • Strong time management capabilities
  • Ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality.
