Cantello Tayler Recruitment are recruiting for a Bid Writer to join an organisation based in Windsor Berkshire. Office based; salary £25,000 - £30,000 per annum.
Bid Writer job requirements:
- Work closely with Project Directors to develop compelling bid documents, tender submissions, PQQs and presentations for pitches.
- Gather bid relevant content from across departments, pre-contracts, contracts, furniture, marketing, and management to feed into the submissions.
- Actively contribute creative ideas to enhance bid documents.
- Ensure company brand standards are adhered to across all outputs.
- Review and edit content to ensure accuracy, clarity and check it’s on brand.
- Check for correct use of grammar, spelling, and formatting.
- Participate in kick-offs, storyboarding, draft reviews, workshops, run throughs and presentation prep as needed.
- Develop a deep understanding of the industry, competitors, and supply chain.
- Other tasks including creating sales collateral to support the sales cycle and creating marketing content to support the broader marketing function.
Bid Writer required skills and experience:
- Educated to Degree level in Graphic Design
- Experienced in Adobe InDesign and broad experience in the Adobe suite.
- IT literate - Microsoft 365.
- Experience working on submissions, bids and/or pitch documents would be advantageous.
- Some understanding of the B2B sales cycle.
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent copy-editing skills, proofing skills and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Highly organised, able to work across multiple projects at the same time.
- Self-motivated and reliable.
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Flexible on workday timings with occasional requirement to work late to meet client deadlines.
- Keen to learn, develop and have training, as required.
