Job Description

• Developing tailored and persuasive bid proposals for new business opportunities
• Collaborating with the Sales team to understand client requirements
• Ensuring all bids align with company services and values
• Managing the bid process from conception to submission
• Creating and maintaining a bid library of reusable content
• Researching the Environmental services sector to inform bid content
• Proofreading and editing bid content for clarity and accuracy
• Reporting on bid outcomes and feedback for continuous improvement

The Successful Applicant

A successful Bid Writer should have:

• Experience in a similar role, ideally within Environmental services, Facilities Management or something closely related
• The ability to get to their office in London or Billericay twice a month
• Outstanding written communication skills, with a flair for persuasive writing
• An ability to work collaboratively with a team
• The capacity to manage multiple bids simultaneously
• A creative approach to problem-solving
• Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills
• A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently
