Job Description
- Developing tailored and persuasive bid proposals for new business opportunities
- Collaborating with the Sales team to understand client requirements
- Ensuring all bids align with company services and values
- Managing the bid process from conception to submission
- Creating and maintaining a bid library of reusable content
- Researching the Environmental services sector to inform bid content
- Proofreading and editing bid content for clarity and accuracy
- Reporting on bid outcomes and feedback for continuous improvement
The Successful Applicant
A successful Bid Writer should have:
- Experience in a similar role, ideally within Environmental services, Facilities Management or something closely related
- The ability to get to their office in London or Billericay twice a month
- Outstanding written communication skills, with a flair for persuasive writing
- An ability to work collaboratively with a team
- The capacity to manage multiple bids simultaneously
- A creative approach to problem-solving
- Strong attention to detail and proofreading skills
- A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently
