VANRATH are recruiting a Bid Writer to work for a leading Main Contractor, based in Co. Tyrone, Northern Ireland.

The Role:

• Researching, structuring and scoping the required response
• Writing high quality, compelling, well-evidenced content for use in bids, presentations and other documentation
• Manage interaction with internal and external stakeholders throughout the bid process
• Leading the preparation of the bid, ensuring contributors provide information on time and to the correct standard whilst answering the bids requirements
• Supporting and prioritising the company’s growth strategy in the identification of opportunities
• Keeping accurate records and developing the current ‘bid library’ for future use
• Adherence to bid preparation timelines an including agreed milestones
• Ensuring content is fully compliant to bid requirements
• Development of case studies for completed projects
• Support of marketing team with content creation as and when required

The Ideal Person:

• Proven track record of winning bids within the construction industry
• Strong administration and organisation skills
• Excellent written communication and presentation skills
• Writing experience in a technical field
• Able to work to tight timescales
• Good understanding of construction / civil engineering
• Team and action oriented
• Able to influence assertively to get results
