This role is initally an ongoing temporary opportunity, which could lead to a long term opportunity for the right candidate. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in accounting, exceptional attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. As a Senior Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining billing, accounts receivable, credit control and supporting the overall finance function. Key Responsibilities: Ensure all billing is completed in a timely manner Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data Chase aged debt in a timely manner Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting discrepancies Requirements: Proven experience as an Accounts Assistant across Billing, Credit Control and Accounts Receivable Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
