Hybrid, full-time permanent position offering £26,000 - £28,000 depending on experience.
An exciting opportunity to work for an international Law Firm within the Global Regulations Team as part of their Secretarial Services has become available! Based in Birmingham, the successful applicant will provide a highly accurate account billing service for clients, supporting both the Legal Practice Groups and the Secretarial team, to ensure a smooth-running and outstanding end-to-end billing service for clients.
Key responsibilities of the role would include:
* Liaising with partners, fee earners and PAs to ensure the required information is collated to complete the progression of bills
* Checking all draft billing proformas to ensure all required information is included and all fees are accurate, and preparing billing documents using Excel
* Checking and amending time entries and narratives of authorised proformas before they are sent to Billing, and chasing missing timesheets
* Liaising with the Billing, Collections and Accounts departments to ascertain the status of invoices, and ensure the smooth running of the billing cycle
* Being the first port-of-call for clients’ invoicing queries, including cancelling invoices, arranging credit notes, and assisting with e-billing
* Providing general administrative support to the Billing Assistant team where required
Prospective applicants must have previous experience working with high-volume external invoices, as well as strong IT and Excel skills.
Applicants must also have excellent attention-to-detail and communication skills, be able to use their initiative, and thrive working as part of a team.
