Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dynamic and organized individual to join our team as a Construction Administration Assistant. In this role, you will provide crucial administrative support to our construction team, ensuring smooth operations and efficient project management.
Responsibilities:
- - Assist with general administrative tasks including answering phones, responding to emails, and filing documents.
- - Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and site visits for the construction team.
- - Maintain accurate records of project documents, contracts, and permits.
- - Assist in preparing project proposals, budgets, and reports.
- - Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to facilitate communication and ensure project timelines are met.
- - Support the procurement process by obtaining quotes, placing orders, and tracking deliveries.
- - Perform other duties as assigned by the construction manager or project supervisor.
Requirements:
- - Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably within the construction industry.
- - Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- - Proficiency in MS Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
- - Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
- - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- - Knowledge of construction terminology and processes is an asset.
