Block Manager - North London / Herts

Property Manager (or Assistant PM stepping up) - Herts/North London borders (Hybrid) - £35-45k

We’re working with a highly rated, long established independent managing agent whose no-fuss, fully accountable service has seen them grow to manage over 10,000 units UK wide (most of which are London & Counties).

As a result of this growth (and a desire not to overload incumbent Property Managers) they now seek an additional Property Manager (or Assistant PM stepping up) as follows:

• Working on a hybrid basis from a Hertfordshire office base
• Overseeing a predominantly Freeholder portfolio (in good order with no arrears) requiring very few site visits and AGM’s
• Portfolio size likely to fall between 600-800 units depending on development size and location - in all cases our client will ensure the PM’s are never overloaded and able to provide an excellent service to long held clients
• Duties will include the full range of block tasks from budget setting to insurance provision, major works consultation, H&S and contractor management, all fully supported in house by an excellent administration and accounts team.
• Sites are mostly London & Counties based, those further afield require little to no visitation.
• Accountability, service and transparency are key - our client has retained and grown its portfolio on these principles
• The role would best suit an accomplished property manager with 2+ years autonomous experience but may provide a step up for an Assistant Property Manager overseeing their own portfolio in all but title
• IRPM preferred but supported in post for those keen to work towards professional qualification
