adi Intelligent Buildings are a specialist in energy management and automation. We form part of a wider company incorporating 23 specialist divisions and nearly 750 employees offering solutions to a variety of industries including food and beverage, automotive and manufacturing, universities and hospitals. From the simplest of switches to complex operational systems, our technology, software and services improve the way our customers manage and automate their operations.

Working alongside our skilled and experienced staff to gain the required skills, whilst working towards a nationally recognised Technical and National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) qualification. The adi Apprentice Academy provides a tailored development programme and network with other apprentices within the business.

All apprentices are offered a wide range of work place experience and our Apprentice Academy is designed to fully support the learner throughout the duration of the apprenticeship training programme to become a highly capable, skilled and valued member of our work force.

About the Role

As a valuable part of our team, your mission will be to program ground-breaking products on our client sites, change the way we look at our industry, challenge perceptions, and drive change and innovation.

Specifically, your key responsibilities will include:

* Proactively engaging in ensuring a safe and healthy working environment is maintained for yourself and others both on and off site.
* Creating and testing software and delivering electrical and mechanical solutions at a high level, to ensure our products provide the most energy efficient solutions to our client base.
* Working with the other adi apprentices across the divisions as part of our 5% club where five percent of the workforce are apprentices.

About you

We would like to hear from you if you have:

* A Grade 4 or above in both Maths and English GCSE's.
* A strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
