Bms Engineer

BMS/ Andover Continuum Engineer required. Our client is a well established BMS company that operate on a UK wide basis. They are looking for BMS Engineers to work mainly with commercial clients in the Midlands with the 2 main sites based in Huntingdon & Warwarkshire due to the growth of the business.

As the BMS Engineer you will be carrying out service and maintenance works, callouts and small works commissioning for BMS control systems installed within their existing client's premises. This position requires substantial proactive field-based customer facing activity, focussing on service delivery, quality and client relationships.

BMS Engineer Position Overview

• To attend sites as required to service BMS and Discreet control systems, carry out Small Works Projects or Remedial Works together with system Upgrade works if required.
• Complete fault diagnosis and rectification on the whole range of BMS equipment.
• Identify potential systems software and hardware issues that may lead to unnecessary failure of services, thereby minimising risk, disruption and inconvenience to building users.
• To be able to fault find and if capable carry out control panel modifications and installations as required.
• To advise clients on potential improvements and recommendations for their system.
• To attend Call Outs and Breakdowns as required.
• To submit daily service reports detailing works carried out and any recommendations or remedial items needed, ensuring part numbers, time required, and any other relevant information is provided to enable the administration team to produce the required quotation.
• Participate in out of hours call-out rota - optional

BMS Engineer Position Requirements

• 10 years' experience in a similar role
• Confident working on Andover Continuum systems
• Trained on Trend as a minimum
• Trained on Schneider, Sigma, Honeywell, Priva or Tridium is a must
• Happy working at heights or cramped areas depending on the project.

BMS Engineer Position Remuneration

• £47-52,000
• 26 days plus bank holiday
• 40 hour week
• Company car and all expenses covered
• Pension
• Training provided
• Company Bonus scheme - £1500 per annum
