Who We Are
Kilter creates bespoke theatre, public engagement and community arts in a range of unexpected settings. From our innovative work in universities with Responsible Research, to our community-building seasonal celebrations, our work is hugely varied and continually takes us to new and unexpected places (figuratively and literally!).
Our Board
Our board is friendly, enthusiastic, and hardworking. We are looking to expand the Board as the company grows and changes, and we are excited to be recruiting for exceptional people to help carry Kilter forward. We currently meet four times a year, usually in central Bath (or, on our annual boardwalk, in the woods and fields surrounding the city!).
Who We're Looking For
We are looking for people who are passionate about Kilter and what we stand for. We hope applicants will have the time and energy to support our work, and to advocate and network on our behalf to build opportunities and make the most out of what we already do.
We seek optimists and realists, sounding-boards, constructive critics, overseers, and future-gazers. We would like our board to represent as broad a range of people as is practical. We make work with a wide range of artists for audiences of every shape and size, so we're keen to welcome applicants of all backgrounds, regardless of age, ethnicity, disability, class, or sexual orientation. You don't need to have an arts background (in fact it can be quite helpful if you don't!).
