My client, an Ipswich-based Accountancy firm, is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join their growing team. You will have huge growth and development plans with this company on top of a lot of flexibility and the opportunity to grow in their finance sector and gain the desired opportunities.
Salary: Up to 30,000
Responsibilities:
- Manage a client portfolio with precision and efficiency, ensuring a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Complete VAT returns promptly and accurately, adhering to deadlines and compliance regulations.
- Utilise knowledge of CIS and reverse VAT where applicable, demonstrating an understanding of complex tax matters.
- Possess a strong understanding of tax and accounts principles, applying them effectively to client accounts.
- Deliver year-end accounts and tax returns efficiently, resolving any issues or discrepancies promptly and professionally.
- Serve as a confident IT user, proficient in Quickbooks, Xero, Excel, and Mac applications, ensuring seamless integration of technology into bookkeeping processes.
Qualifications and Experience:
- AAT/ACA qualified or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of VAT return experience.
- Strong understanding of CIS, reverse VAT, tax, and accounts principles.
- Proficiency in Quickbooks, Xero, Excel, and Mac applications.
