Bookkeeper

Morgan King Accountancy are working with one of the UK’s leading logistics providers who are looking for a part time Bookkeeper. The business has been running for over 38 years and have gone from strength to strength within the industry.

Day-to-day responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of transactions
• Process and reconcile invoices ensuring timely and accurate payments
• Reconcile bank statements regularly
• chase outstanding payments and manage credit limits
• Resolve discrepancies and address issues with suppliers
• Handle and process foreign currency transactions
• Maintain awareness of exchange rates and minimise risks
• Produce cost and sales reports for management
• Provide insights and analysis to support decision-making
• Ad hoc administration duties

About you

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Detail oriented with an eye for detail
