The Opportunity
Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Office Manager/ Company Bookkeeper to join a growing, owner led business in a hands-on, varied role. The role encompasses a broad remit including bookkeeping, company administration and working directly with the owners to ensure smooth running of the day to day business.
This would be a perfect role for someone who has experience within an SME environment within, who loves implementing processes, controls and enjoys the freedom to work autonomously.
This is a key hire for the company who are in great shape with plans for expansion and growth in the near future.

Your remit will include:
- Responsible for the bookkeeping for the business (posting invoices, supplier statement recs, processing payments, expenses, preparing payroll, liaising with external accountant)
- Utilising Quickbooks and integrating the associated functions within the sales side of the business
- Adminstrative duties
- Dealing with incoming enquiries and directing them appropriately
- Working with contractors and being a point of contact for any queries
- Ordering materials and ensuring timely delivery to site
- Full oversight & daily responsibility for the efficient and timely operation of all administrative tasks, systems, processes & procedures
- Involvement with H&S/ HR compliance
- Adhoc duties where required
The business seeks someone who has:
- Experience of bookkeeping for an SME, with working knowledge of Quickbooks being a prerequisite
- A background in office management
- Strong administrative and organisation skills
- Excellent time management skills
- Confidence in dealing with clients and external stakeholders
- The ability to work autonomously and use initiative whilst ensuring strong communication with internal and external stakeholders
- A proactive attitude towards improvements
