Tudor Employment Agency are currently recruiting for a Bookkeeper to work for our prestigious client based in Hednesford.

Our client is seeking someone who has the passion and energy to join the team to work in a busy office environment.
You will be a skilled individual, someone who is professional, someone who has excellent communication skills, and someone who is highly organised and can meet deadlines.

Successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Recording day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process
• VAT Returns using QuickBooks, SAGE and Xero Excel
• Bank reconciliations using Excel and the above software programmes
• Verifying that transactions are recorded in the correct day book, suppliers ledger, customer ledger and general ledger
• Completing tax forms 
• Entering data, maintaining records and creating reports and financial statements
• Processing accounts receivable / payable and handle payroll in a timely manner

The successful candidate must have:

• Proven bookkeeping experience
• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable / receivable principles
• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
• Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
• Hands on experience with spreadsheets and required software
• Proficiency in English and MS Office
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

Hours of Work: Part time across 3 x days (must include a Friday) flexible on hours

Rate of Pay: £25,000 - £27,000
