We are looking for someone to provide bookkeeping, payroll, and admin services. There will be scope to expand the role as the practice grows.
The role will give you exposure to all aspects of Bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, VAT return preparation, credit control,
- Work with multiple clients and adhere to each companies deadlines
- Daily client bookkeeping tasks
- Bank reconciliations
- Processing invoices, bills and expenses
- Preparation of UK VAT returns
- Prepare and submit monthly payrolls
- Completing CIS returns
- Prepare and submit pension reports
- Regular communication with clients via email and by phone
- Dealing with HMRC as required by email and phone
- Post monthly payroll journals in accounting system
- Support and contribute to the accounts payable and receivable process for our clients including bank reconciliations, supplier reconciliations, invoice processing , credit control
- Assist with preparation of management accounts
Qualifications and skills
- AAT
- Working knowledge of Xero, Quickbooks and Sage
- Proficient in MS Office suite, particularly Excel
- Proficient in using payroll software
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary: £22,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 28 – 37.5 per week
