SalaryMorgan King Accountancy are working with one of the UK's leading logistics providers who are looking for a part time Bookkeeper. The business has been running for over 38 years and have gone from strength to strength within the industry.
Day-to-day responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of transactions
- Process and reconcile invoices ensuring timely and accurate payments
- Reconcile bank statements regularly
- chase outstanding payments and manage credit limits
- Resolve discrepancies and address issues with suppliers
- Handle and process foreign currency transactions
- Maintain awareness of exchange rates and minimise risks
- Produce cost and sales reports for management
- Provide insights and analysis to support decision-making
- Ad hoc administration duties
About you
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Detail oriented with an eye for detail
