Bookkeeper

Our client is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join their Accounting & Finance team. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, capable of managing financial records, and comfortable working within a team-based environment.

Description

• Maintaining financial records and preparing accounts
• Preparation and upkeep of VAT returns
• Ensuring accurate record-keeping
• Manage client relations via telephone, email, and in-person interactions.
• Participating in team meetings and sharing best practice
• Compliance with financial policies and regulations
• Supporting the Accounting & Finance team as needed

Profile

A successful Bookkeeper should have:

• A minimum of 2 years' experience in bookkeeping
• Proficiency in accounting software eg. Xero, Quickbooks
• Experience of working with multiple clients
• Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail
• Good organisational skills for managing records and invoices
• The ability to work well within a team environment
• A professional qualification in Accounting or Finance
