The Bookeeper will be a vital addition to our Accounting & Finance team, offering support in payroll and financial operations within our Professional Services industry.

Description
- Processing and filing of weekly/monthly payroll, CIS submissions, year-end reports
- Monthly pension reporting along with EPS and FPS
- Liaising with HMRC and clients
- Handle payroll related enquiries and resolve any issues
- Answering incoming calls; taking messages and re-directing calls as required
- Assist with the day to day running of the business
- Knowledge of SSP, SMP, PAYE, NI and CIS
- Preparation and submission of VAT returns
- Bank reconciliations and control accounts
- Opportunity to Prepare accounts to trial balance
- Other ad hoc administration duties when required.
Profile
A successful Bookkeeper should have:
- A solid educational background in Finance, Accounting or a relevant field.
- Proven experience in payroll and accounts roles.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Office. (Sage beneficial)
- Strong communication and organisational skills.

- An estimated salary range of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum.
