We are seeking a diligent and experienced Accountant Bookkeeper to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping, with essential experience in Xero and VAT. Experience in management accounts and year-end processes would be a significant advantage.
Day-to-day of the role:- Managing financial records and bookkeeping activities with precision and in accordance with company policies.
- Handling all aspects of VAT, including preparation, submission, and reconciliation.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records and statements.
- Processing invoices, payments, and receipts efficiently.
- Reconciling bank statements and other financial accounts.
- Assisting with the preparation of management accounts and year-end financial statements.
- Collaborating with the finance team to improve financial processes and systems.
- Proven experience as an Accountant Bookkeeper.
- Proficiency in Xero accounting software is essential.
- Strong understanding of VAT regulations and compliance.
- Experience with management accounts and year-end processes is highly desirable.
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
