Bookkeeping Assistant & Payroll Clerk

• Position: Bookkeeping Assistant & Payroll Clerk
• Salary: Up to £35,000
• Location: Southwick
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm - fully office based

We have a great opportunity for a Bookkeeping Assistant and Payroll Clerk to join a well-established company in the Southwick area, where you'll be assisting with payroll and general bookkeeping duties. You'll also have experience with software's such as Xero, QuickBooks and Star Payroll.

As a Bookkeeping Assistant and Payroll Clerk your role will include:

• Processing Payroll on a monthly and weekly basis using Star Payroll which includes RTI submissions and pension administration
• Processing manual calculations for holiday pay, SMP & SSP
• Understand the payroll process from start to finish
• Bookkeeping for a variety of clients using Xero, QuickBooks and Excel

This is a full time permanent position working Monday to Friday, 9am to 5:30pm, fully office based and paying a salary of up to £35,000 dependent on experience.
